UNIQE Appreciation Post
International Women's Day
To commemorate Women History Month and International Women's Day on March, 2021. We decided to create an appreciation post dedicated to all the awesome women out there! In addition, we also gave free illustrated postcards that were shared through a Google Drive link which can be downloaded, printed, or gifted to anyone.

Concept
All Women are Equally Amazing
To symbolize International Women’s Day, purple is chosen as the main color. A hint of green, white, and pink colors are meant to represent women’s equality.
The character illustrations are heavily inspired by the diverse professions that a woman could have—doctor, mother, ‘ibu penjaga warung’ (food stall worker), ojol (online motorcycle driver), teacher, and many more. Through this representation, we’d like to convey a message that although there are different careers; all women are equally amazing.
Illustrations
These characters were then framed and assembled beside one another which expresses that all women should be admired and appreciated. Details like motorcycle, clothing, and environment were referenced by Indonesia’s iconic elements such as daster, warung, and motor vario.
Popular superhero poses were also used in some of the characters. For instance, ‘catwoman’ pose from Batman and Superman's ‘strong’/ ‘proud’ stance. All these features were designed to create a sense of familiarity and relatability for the readers.
Final Designs
Illustrations were done in both Pro-create and Photoshop. In addition, respective typographies of each character were made in Adobe Illustrator. Short catchy phrases that best portray the character were also added to give information in a fun manner.
